About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. The Weeds

1.  Matthew 13:24; Here is another story Jesus told: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.
The seeds that Jesus planted were the Gospel.  It is His story and the teachings he left us.
Matthew 13:37; Jesus replied, “The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed.

2.  Matthew 13:25; But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away. , 39
Here Jesus is telling us that the Devil is real and he is at work in our world.  He is trying to destroy our lives and keep us from Christ.

Matthew 13:39; The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.

3.  Matthew 13:26-27; When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew. 27 “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’
Weeds are unbelievers who live among the wheat which are believers.  Anyone who doesn’t belong to Christ belongs to Satan.
Matthew 13:38; The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one.

4.  Matthew 13:28-30;  “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed. “‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked. 29 “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”
Young weeds and wheat look the same, so there is no way to tell them apart until they are fully grown.  Once the weeds and wheat are grown they can be separated from each other.  This is not an easy process, but the farmer is willing to do it to save his harvest.

5.  Matthew 13:40-43; “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!
The farmer who is Christ will send his workers to separate the weeds from the wheat.  The workers are the angels who will do this at the end of the world.  The harvest is God’s judgment on the world and those that are unbeliever will be separated from the believers.

Jesus has planted the seeds and it is our choice if we will let the seeds grown in our heart to produce wheat or allow the seeds to die and we become weeds.
