About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. The Blind Side

The Blind Side is the true story of how a rich Christian Republican family took in a poor homeless teenage boy. The young man Michael Orr, went on to play football at Ole Miss and then was an NFL first round draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens. The family was white and the young man was black, but that really had very little to do with the overall story. We see the meaning of the Golden Rule in the family, the teachers at the Christian school were Michael attended, his high school football coach, and his tutor. Sandra Bullock gives a wonderful performance and the parade of college coaches is really funny. The movie will make you laugh, cry, and give you hope in the kindness of people. What we learn from the movie is that everyone is responsible for their own choices in life and family is not about blood but love.

I give this movie a B+.
