Baseball season is here again. Growing up as a kid baseball was my favorite sport. Everyday during the summer I would spend all day outside playing baseball in my backyard. I would play with the neighbor kids or just by myself. I also played little league baseball every year until high school. I also collected baseball cards and still have a big collection today.
During high school my focus went from baseball to football. Today my favorite sport is football, but baseball still has a special place in my heart. My wife and I try to go to at least one Cincinnati Reds and one Indianapolis Indians game a year. There is nothing like sitting outside on a warm summer day watching America’s past-time.
If you’ve never been to a major or minor league baseball game I recommend you do. Enjoy the sun, have a hot dog, drink a coke, and get a ball cap. A live baseball game is a great way to spend a sunny summer afternoon.
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
