I have always been a Dallas Cowboys fan. I was a fan in the days of Tony Dorsett, Danny White, and Randy White. I rooted for the Cowboys even when they were only winning 1 and 2 games a season. I didn’t even give up on them when they fired Tom Landry. I was a proud fan during the Super Bowl years with Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin. I stayed a fan during the last years of Dave Campo. And today I’m a fan of the Cowboys with Tony Romo.
People are fans of teams for many different reasons. It could have been their hometown team. Maybe it was the first team they remember watching with their father. It could even be that it was the team everyone else hated. For me it was a poster. My big brother had a poster of Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Dorsett in his room. I am a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and that will likely never change. And it was all because of a poster in my big bother's room.
