About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. The Death of Citizen Government

Our Founding Fathers had a vision of a country where common citizens serve in government for a short time, then return to their lives and careers. Government was never meant to be a lifetime job. America is becoming a country of two classes not the rich and the poor, but the common people and the ruling class.  Our government should be one made of common citizens, but that may now be dead.  We see politicians that serve 10, 20, and 30 years or more in government.  They spend more time trying to get elected, than actually governing.  Our Founding Fathers would be so disappointed in our country and its leaders.  But we have no one to blame but ourselves.  We keep sending these career politicians back and wonder why things don't get better.
