This movie was a pleasant surprise. The plot summary really doesn't do it justice. I was ready to complain that most retailers don't care if you have a degree to become a store manager. But really the whole plot point of our heroine getting past over for a promotion really is just a device to get into the real heart of the story. The movie is really about the courage of a woman to not have an abortion, but to love their baby enough to give it up for adoption. The story is about the forgiveness we show others and being able to forgive ourselves. It is about the entrepreneurial spirit and the greatness of hard work. The movie has some very funny moments and some really touching ones. It isn't a great movie, but it is very enjoyable
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
