Lord, I listen carefully to your many proverbs. I do not fear when trouble comes. Yet I know I cannot be redeem from death by paying a ransom to you God. Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough to live forever and never see the grave. I know someday I will finally die, just like the foolish and the wise, leaving all I have behind. But I know you God, will redeem my life. You will snatch me from the power of the grave. For when I die, I take nothing with me. My wealth will not follow me into the grave. In this life I consider myself fortunate. But I will die like all before me and never again see the light of day. People who boast of their wealth don’t understand; they will die, just like animals. But I know when I die you will bring me home. Amen.
My prayer based on Psalms 49:4-5, 7-10, 15, 17-20 NLT.
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
