Oh, Lord help me to find the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. Lead me to delight in Your Word, meditating on it day and night. Make me like a tree planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. I do not want my leaves to wither, but to prosper in all I do. Guide me so I will not be like the wicked! Help me not to be like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. I do not want to be condemned at the time of judgment. I don't want to be like the sinners who have no place among the godly. For You Lord watch over the path of the godly. Help me to stay away from the path of the wicked which leads to destruction. Amen.
