I love the Maxwell House coffee commercial "Whatever happen to being good." I think a lot of companies forget about the importance of being good at their business. Instead they want to be great, cool, and awesome. They worry about exceeding expectations, before they actually meet their customer's expectations.
Being good means that you under promise, so you CAN over deliver. Being good means that you fill your customer's needs first, before you address their wants next. When you focus on being great before you've gotten good, then you over promise what you might not be able to deliver and you fill your wants before your customer's needs.
Let's be good, before trying to be great.
