Aquamarine is not the name of a marine who likes to swim. It is the birthstone for the month of March. Aquamarine is a member of the beryl family. The beryl is a mineral that includes the species of Emerald (green), Morganite (pink), and Heliodor (golden). Aquamarine ranges in color from colorless with a hint of blue to intense deep blue. Basically, aquamarine is a blue emerald that has less inclusions and is much harder. The hardness ranged from 7.5 to 8 on a scale of 10. The name is derived from the Latin meaning, “seawater.” The gemstone was thought to give the wearer courage, knowledge, foresight, and inspiration. It is a symbol of youth and fidelity. It is also believed that it would induce a peaceful night’s rest. Finally, aquamarine is the stone to celebrate the 19th wedding anniversary.
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
