Gran Tornio is a Grand Movie!
Clint Eastwood has proved again that he is one of the best filmmakers in America. Gran Torino touches on many different topics and makes you look at those topics in different ways. Clint's character at first is seen as a racist old fart, but as the movie moves forward you see it is just apart of his culture and history . And as he is introduced to the new Asian culture in his neighborhood he begins to respect and even become a father-figure to a young Asian boy. His racist comments turn from rude statements to terms of endearment. The end can be summed up in this one statement from Jesus, in John 15:13. See the movie then read the verse.
