The New Green Deal is absolute insanely or worse a socialist utopia. Here are just a few things to know about this plan.
First, it will ban all cars with a gas powered engines. Everyone will have to buy an electric or hybrid car. So affordable used cars will be a thing of the past. Second, they want to do away with air travel and force everyone to take railroads. I might he wrong, but that is how we travelled over 100 years ago. So are we going back in time? Third, it will ban the use of oil and natural gas the two most affordable energy sources. So we will all be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. But you would also think that with banning oil and gas they would support the cleanest form of energy that can actually produce the energy we need. But no, they want to ban nuclear power which is in fact a great source of clean energy. And on top of that the plan doesn't ban the coal. Did they forget coal is much dirtier than oil or natural gas. Fourth, they want all buildings made energy efficient which will cost the economy trillions and it might mean the destruction of many older buildings. Finally, they will have to ban beef, "because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows." Yes, that is a quote from the report.
So that is the basic ideas on their plans for energy, but they don't stop there. They also want to guarentee everyone nutritional food, housing, free healthcare, free education, and free money. Anyone who is unable or UNWILLING to work the government will pay you. Yes, if you don't want to work you don't have to and the government will take of you. Folks this is not just socialism, it is communism.
And who supports the AOC New Green Deal? It includes almost every Democrat currently running for president including Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, Julián Castro, and Beto O’Rourke. The Democratic Party isn't liberal or even progressive. They are straight up socialists/communists.
