Corporations Do not Pay Taxes

So some people are upset that Amazon didn't pay any federal tax.  Of course that isn't completely true since they pay the social security and Medicare tax, plus state and local taxes.  And they have to collect sales tax.  But here is the thing to remember no corporation pays taxes.   When we tax corporations they pass that cost onto the consumer or they don't give raises or hire new people.  When we tax corporations it is an indirect tax on all of us.
