Lord, you are my King and my God. You command my life. Only by your power can I push back my sins; only in your name can I overcome my troubles. You are the one who gives me victory over my sin. O God, I give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name. I can’t escape the constant humiliation and shame that is written across my face when I sin. But I have not forgotten you. I have not violated your covenant. My heart has not deserted you. I have not strayed from your path. Rise up! Help me! Because I am saved by your unfailing love. Amen.
