I come to you for protection, O Lord my God. If I have done wrong or am guilty of injustice, if I have betrayed a friend or hurt others, let me be forgiven by those I have failed and by you. enemies capture me. You judge the nations and me. I pray that you will declare me righteous, O Lord, I declare that I am innocent, because I am made clean by your Son. I know you will judge those who are evil and wicked, but defend the righteous. Look deep within my mind and heart, O righteous God. You are my shield, protecting my heart helping me to be true and right. You are an honest judge. And you are only angry with the wicked. I thank you Lord because you are just; I will sing praise to your name the Lord Most High. Amen.
