I came to the end of the movie asking what was the point and why should I care about going further in the movie. I usually like movies that use the love conquers all storyline, but this one came off as hollow. I think part of the issue is that you didn't really get to understand the extent of the political issues or why this society is on the brink of war. Overall I just didn't care when it was over.
