Knockout! Creed is both a great tribute to the Rocky franchise and a wonderful movie on it's own. It pays respect to the past while being a relative movie to the present. You can tell it was written and made by someone who loves the Rocky movies. The story is very strong and the acting even better. Stallone gives us a Rocky we haven't seen before, but also one that has always been there. Rocky gives us the heart and comic relief to the movie. While Stallone is great and should get a best supporting actor nomination, this is not just another Rocky movie. This movie is about Apollo Creed's son and his journey to finding his own name. It is about making your own legacy and about how family is more than blood or color of your skin. This is the movie that Rocky V could've been, but also a new telling of an original story. The music was also very good in how it melds the classic Rocky music into a new sounds. This is the best movie of the year 2015 and deserves an Oscar nomination.
