About Me

My photo
Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. Elitist Alert

In a Senate hearing, Brig. General Michael Walsh was speaking to Senator Barbara Boxer and was responding to her by calling her “Ma’am.”  The military always address their superiors as either Ma’am or Sir. The only time they use a title is for those that are below them, such as a private. The senator responded by saying, "Do me a favor, could you call me senator instead of ma'am? It's just a thing, I've worked so hard to get that title, I’d appreciate it. Thank you."

I know what I’d like to call you senator, but I want to keep my blog clean. How dare you speak to a Brig. General in this way. It is because of him and every soldier that you are able to hold your position. Brig. General Walsh earned his title, you just won a popularity contest.

This is the problem with people in Congress like Barbara Boxer. They don’t understand that they are servants and they serve us. Elitist in Congress need to be shown the door and voted out. We need people who come to Washington to serve and not to be served. Elitist need not apply.
