Rush Limbaugh got a lot of flack back when he said he wanted President Obama to fail. Well, I wanted and still want Obama and the Democrats to fail. The fact of the matter is that if the Democrats were to be successful in what than want to do; it will mean the end of capitalism as we know it. It will result in less restrictions on abortion, Americans will have less free speech, there will be high taxes, the government will control our medical care, the world would be less safe, and we will all have higher energy costs.
Rush and I don’t want America to fail, but we don’t want our country to be turned into a socialist state like those in Europe. I don’t agree with “Cap and Trade,” which will result in higher energy costs for everyone. I don’t want the government running my healthcare and making decision for my doctors. I don’t want to pay unfair higher taxes, because I’m successful. I don’t want to lose my right to listen to what I want on the radio. I don’t want doctors having to do procedures they don’t morally agree with. I don't want businesses being forced to pay for abortion drugs. I don’t want the government to control all of our banks.
I don’t believe the Democrats want to improve our economy or help our country. I believe they want to control us. If they really wanted to improve our economy and help the country they should cut taxes and spending. Instead they just spend money to make us more dependant on the federal government. Cutting taxes got us out of the recessions in the 80's and 2000's. Cutting spending and government power expanded our economy in the 90's.
I don’t believe that what the Democrats wants to do to our country is good, so yes I want them to fail. It is not the government that makes this country great it is us, the American people.
