About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. Halloween (1978)

Believe it or not, but I had never seen Halloween.   To be fair I'm not a big fan of horror movies.  But I have to say I was disappointed.  I found it more funny than scary.  I watched it at an independent theater on Halloween Eve.  And it was funny listening to the audience laugh at most of the scary moments.  The acting is very mediocre and the jump scares aren't scary.  I get that this movie is one of the first horror slasher movies, but it was really boring.  And I don't think it is just because it is an older movie.  Hitchcock with Psycho and The Birds created scary movies that both scared you and had a good story.  But let me say getting to see the movie at a theater on Halloween weekend was still fun.
