The tragedy of the shooting by Alec Baldwin on the movie set killing one person shows the ignorance of movie stars, directors, and the media on guns. The problem is they are calling the gun a "prop gun." A prop gun can't shoot a bullet, because it isn't a real gun. So it was a real gun that could shoot real bullets. Stop calling it a prop gun. It is a gun. And the first rule of gun safety is you always assume a gun is loaded. And if you are an actor who doesn't know how to personally check if a gun is loaded, then you shouldn't be pulling the trigger.
