Comedian and TV host Bill Maher once said that "the Senate doesn’t need 60 votes to pass the healthcare bill…60% of Americans don’t believe in evolution…Americans are stupid.” Mr. Maher has never been one to hold his punches and he has expressed what most liberals think. Most liberals think most Americans are stupid. The east and west coast liberals look down on those in the middle of the country. They think we are just a bunch of hicks, who don’t know what is good for us. This is exactly what liberals in Washington think about America. And I almost agree. The fact is a majority of Americans elected Barack Obama president. People fell for the “Hope and Change.”
If we want the liberals, RINOs, and CINOs, to take us seriously, then we have to vote the bums out. Americans voted for Barack Obama, Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, Robert Byrd, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, Chris Dodd, Susan Collins, Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, and Al Franken. What do we expect when these are the people we elect? I know Americans are not stupid, but until we hold the politicians in Washington accountable for their actions they will continue to take advantage of us and treat us as if we are stupid.
