Jesus said, “And why worry about a speck in your friends eye when you have a log in your own,” Matthew 7:3.
As an elder in my church I saw all the time people who wanted to criticize on the sidelines, but never get involved in the solution. These people prefered to tear down leaders, than to be leaders. They would rather judge others, than serve others. They were less concerned about saving grace and more concerned with following rules. Many of these people know scripture, but even Satan knows scriptures.
The fact is we all fall into one or more of these behaviors at some point or another. Let me encourage you that before you try to take the speck from someone’s eye, you should check your own eye for logs. Ask yourself, “What can I do to be apart of the solution,” before you criticize someone praise them at least two times. Jesus warned about judging others, but highly encouraged us to love one another. So let's make sure we love more than we judge.
