Here is candidate Obama's view on borrowing money from China and other countries.
"The long-term deficit and debt that we have accumulated is unsustainable. We can't keep on just borrowing from China or borrowing from other countries.” “We have to pay interest on that debt and that means that we're mortgaging our children's future with more and more debt.”
So who supported the first bank bailout, spending billions that we don’t have on banks? Who was it that spent $700 billion dollars on a spending bill that we didn’t need? Who is it that supported a healthcare bill that increased federal spending? Who is it that has continued to grow the federal debt? Who has continued to find new and more expensive ways to spend our tax dollars, print even more money, and borrow from other counties? The answer of course is President Obama and his friends the Democrats.
True freedom is equal to the amount of money we allow our government to take from us. And allowing our government to continue to increase our debt is taking away our freedom. We complain that our government is irresponsible, inefficient, and wasteful. We complain that taxes are too high and that the services for those taxes inadequate. But the fact is that every election cycle we as voters bend over and say, “Thank you, may I have another.” The government can only take from us what we allow them to take. Every dollar the government takes from you is less freedom that you have. How much freedom are you willing to let them take?
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
