About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. Pro-Life Growing

A Fox News Poll in 2009, showed that 49% of Americans see themselves as Pro-Life to 43% who see themselves as Pro-Choice. Gallop also reported around the same time that 51% of Americans say they were Pro-Life.

In my opinion these numbers are actually higher based on how you would ask the question. Many people I’ve talked to over the years will say they are Pro-Choice, because they just want to protect abortion in cases to save the life of the mother, rape, and incest. I also ask if we were to outlaw abortion, but allow it in only those cases would you approve. In most every case people agree. Then I explain that only about 5% of abortions that happen are cases to save the life of the mother, rape, or incest. Most people would never get an abortion themselves and most hate to think of other people getting abortions. They just feel it is “politically incorrect” to be Pro-Life and would hate to see their child have to have a baby do to a rape. I would say 75% to 80% of Americans are against abortion as a form of birth control.

So what does this mean. Younger people are starting to see themselves as Pro-Life more and more. When Jenny and I ran a group home for teenage girls most every girl was against abortion and would never have an abortion themselves. People are seeing that killing a baby as a form of birth control might just not be the moral thing to do.
