The problem with American socialists, liberals, and progressives who hate capitalism, is they can't seem to understand that everything good in America is because of the free market and capitalis. Everything they enjoy from cheap products they like, to superior serivice they get comes from our economic system. If they have to work extra or put forth a little extra effort to get ahead they will say that business owners are slave owners. That labor in America is just a new form of slavery. They think government should give them free college, free healthcare, free food, free housing, and anything else free if they think it is a need. They think billionaires and millionaires are selfish for making the money they do, even though they were the ones who earned. They were the ones who either started that business and risked everything to make it successful or they were the ones who worked harder and put in the time to get where they are today. Instead of seeing all they have, they only see what they don't have but want.
In America no one really starves except those that suffering from drug addiction or mental health problems that are homeless. You can go to any city big or small and find charities or churches that give anyone free food. And we have safety nets for anyone that need help from medicaid for poor people, to hospitals that can't turn away anyone, food stamps, welfare, charity, churches, and so much more.
America is the country people in other places will risk their lives to come. We take in more people around the world than any country, but people will still complain how unfair and terrible America is to them. Could America be better? Of course. There is no such thing as a perfect country. But in America you have the opportunity to be as successful as your talents, skills, and hard work take you. 75% of millionaires didn't get any inheritance that made them a millionaires. They earned it.
