The Coronavirus outbreak has been bad and may get worse. Thanks to President Trump's travel bans on China and Europe, he has contained the virus from being 10x worse and possibly killing millions. Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders condemned Trump's travel ban and had they been in charge they would have made the situation much much worse.
Dr. Anthony Fauci told Congress that travel bans were neccessary to contain the spread of the coronavirus. All the science shows that Trump made the right call. Trump warned everyone about this in the State of the Union saying, “We are coordinating with the Chinese government and working closely together on the coronavirus outbreak in China. My administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat.” Instead of working with the President, Nancy Pelosi was too busy tearing up what she called the "mistruths" in the SOTU and Democrats were focused on impeachment. Democrats played politics and put American lives at risk.
Now what did Joe Biden say after Trump banned travel from China? Biden tweeted: "We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump's record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency." Later Biden tweeted this after the ban on travel from Europe, “A wall will not stop the coronavirus. Banning all travel from Europe — or any other part of the world — will not stop it.”
And where was Bernie Sanders on this issue? Bret Baier asked Sanders about closing the border as Trump had “But if you had to, if you had to, would you close down the borders?” Sanders simple answer was, “No, I mean, what you don’t want to do right now — we have a president who has propagated a xenophobic, anti-immigrant sentiment from before he was elected."
If Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders had been president they would have put Americans at greater risk for political correctness. Come November we need to remember this and remember that instead of bringing Americans together they and every Democrat continued to divide America.
