Companies that make announcements that they are no longer carrying Trump or Ivanka Trump products are an example of what is wrong in America. I never agreed with Christian bakers and wedding photographers who refused to do gay weddings and I don't agree with companies who decide to punish the president or worse the president's family. Most of these companies are saying they are doing it for weak sales performance, but if that was true you don't announce it. You just do it. Trump is our president and roughly half the country supports him. Companies shouldn't be taking sides in politics, but instead focus on giving their customers the products and services they want. It is sad that we've come to a point in society that because we disagree we must be enemies. Capitalism works best when companies focus on making a profit and not making statements. I've rarely support boycotts, but I'm starting to reconsider.
About Me
- Chuck Baker
- Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more.
