Have you ever seen that video of Jeff Daniels on his show The Newsroom where he says America isn't the greatest nation on earth. It is complete B.S. Dumbest speech ever! If America is not the greatest country in the world then why do so many people want to come live here. Can I go to all those other "free" countries and buy a gun? Do those countries have as their very first right the freedom of religion and speech. Who is the lone superpower in the world that uses its power for good. Every other nation in history that has had the power we have has used it to try to control the rest of the world. The numbers he gives are never adjusted for population or regional differences. We are also very diverse. Most countries in the world are made up of just a few races or ethnic groups. America has millions of people from all around the world and from different countries. America is exceptional and the greatest nation in the world. Liberals like Jeff Daniels might disagree, but they are wrong. The world revolves around what America does. Not the other way around.
