This movie is about two true stories. One is the life of Julia Child as she learns to become a chef and write her famous cookbook. The other is about a woman named Julie who cooks her way through Julia’s cookbook over a year and blogs about it. Along the way we see two women struggle to find their passion and the love between them and their husbands. I was really touched by the romantic relationship between Julia Child and her husband. He truly loved his wife. Overall the movie is funny, romantic, and touching.
I give this movie a B+.
