About Me

Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. Mail In Voting vs Absentee Voting

I'm keeping this simple.  Mail in voting is were ballots are just sent out to everyone.  Then anyone can fill out and mail back.  And we have to trust the government won't send ballots to the wrong people, dead people, or more than 1 per person.  We just saw with the Covid checks dead people getting $1200 checks.  So can we really trust government to do this?

Absentee voting is were someone isn't going to be able to vote in person.  So they request a ballot.  There are safety and checks to make sure the ballet goes to the right person and only that person votes.

I understand states like Oregon has mail in voting.  But that is on a state level not federal, it has been tested and developed for years, and it is more like an absentee system than what Democrats and media want.
