Multi-millionaire, Academy Award winner filmmaker Michael Moore has made a living making movies about the evils of capitalism. When talking about his movies Moore said that capitalism had never done anything for him and he had to beg, barrow, and steal to get his first movie made.
Michael Moore doesn’t understand capitalism, even though it was capitalism that made him rich. Capitalism is not about helping people be successful or accomplishing one thing or another. Instead capitalism is about the opportunity to work hard to be successful or accomplish one thing or another. The fact is capitalism requires hard work, effort, and risk. But the rewards are great.
Socialism and communism decide who will be successful and what someone will accomplish. In these systems Michael Moore would never have been able to make his first movie. There would not have been the opportunities or freedoms for him to make his movies.
Michael Moore is either an idiot or a hypocrite. If he is too stupid to understand that capitalism allows anyone who is willing to take risks, work hard, and reach for their dreams can be successful, then I feel sorry for him. If he does know this, then it is not capitalism that is evil, but Michael Moore.
