About Me

My photo
Chuck Baker is Right! Well, I am. What I mean is that my friends always joke that I’m always right (or at least I think I am). The thing is I don’t say anything, unless I know I’m right. So it's not that I’m right about everything, but usually when I speak I know what I’m talking about. My dad always said, “Don’t speak unless you know your right.” This blog includes many subjects like religion, politics, business, movies, sports, and more. Business Casual

Business Casual

I hate the term business casual. The reason is because no one seems to know what it means. Here is what business causal means or at least should mean.

Men:
Pants should be slacks or khaki that have only 4 pockets. Colors should be conservative and warm, not loud, neon, or plaid. A leather black or brown belt should be wore. Shirts should be either a dress shirt with no tie, golf shirt, or button down collard shirt. Dress sweaters are also acceptable during the winter months. Shoes should be dress black or brown or casual leather black or brown. Tennis shoes, sandals, or street shoes are not acceptable. There should be no body or face piercing and no visible tattoos. Hair should be clean, neat, and fashionable groomed. Colors should be conservative and warm, not loud, neon, or plaid.

Women:
Slacks or khaki pants with only 4 pockets and a black or brown leather belt. Dress skirt that goes to the knee, but no skorts, or caprices‘. The top can be a collard blouse, golf shirt, dress sweeter, button down shirt, cotton strap blouse with a top. Shoes should be dress heels, dress casuals, work shoes, pumps, or dress sandals. Casual sandals and athletic sandals, tennis shoes, and flip flops are a not acceptable. Hair should be clean, neatly groomed, fashionable styled. Body should be the same with no visible tattoos or piercing except ears.

I know these might seem strict, but don’t customers deserve to spend their money with a professional. People should take pride in how they present themselves. I consider myself a Retail Professional, so I try to dress as a professional. It’s about pride in yourself, your company, and your career.
