O Lord , hear me as I pray; pay attention to me. Listen to my cry for help, for I pray to no one but you. Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord . Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked. Help me to not be proud and to do evil. Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; I will worship you with deepest awe. Lead me in the right path, O Lord. Make your way plain for me to follow. Help me speak truthful words. O God, do not declare me guilty. Help me to drive away my many sins, so that I will not rebell against you. Let me take refuge in you; let me sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over me, because I love your name and it fills me with joy. O Lord ; you surround me with your shield of love. Amen.
